Let's Bake Some Biscuits!!
Hello everyone!!
How are you all?
Today I made some biscuits that are typical in New Zealand.
They are chocolate biscuits with chocolate icing. Very delicious!
You can watch how to make them in this video, and I've put the recipe below 😃😃
Please ask me if you have any questions!
I hope you enjoy them!!

WALNUT HAT BISCUIT RECIPE
Makes: ~18 biscuits
Preparation time: 20 minutes
Cooking time: 12 minutes
Ingredients:
Biscuits:
200 grams butter - softened or melted
1/2 cup white sugar (100 grams)
1 & 1/4 cups flour (175 grams)
1/4 cup cocoa (40 grams)
2 cups cornflakes (60 grams)
Icing:
1 & 1/2 cups icing sugar (180 grams)
1 tablespoon cocoa powder
1 tablespoon melted butter
1-2 tablespoons hot water
walnuts
Method:
Preheat oven to 180°C.
Cream butter and sugar for 3-4 minutes until it is creamy.
Add flour and cocoa powder and mix well.
Add cornflakes and mix gently.
Take tablespoon sized amounts, roll into balls and spread them evenly on the tray.
Bake for 12 minutes - they will be a bit soft when they come out of the oven.
Allow them to completely cool down.
In a medium bowl combine the icing sugar, cocoa, melted butter and a little bit of the hot water. Mix it all together.
Slowly add more hot water a little at a time until the desired consistency is reached. (If you accidentally add too much water just add a little icing sugar.)
Ice the biscuits and finish with a walnut half on top
EAT THEM!
