 Easter is here! And we are celebrating it with an Easter egg contest at school.

Erasmus + visits

Lately (the last two Wednesdays) we have hosted the visit of two groups of teachers from Warsaw, Poland, as part of the exchanges in the Erasmus Plus programme, the same programme we have asked to participate in this year. Our head teacher, our bilingual coordinator and Emily, one of our language assistants, accompanied them in their visit.

They were really interested in our school, our bilingual programme and our way of teaching, so apart from visiting the school and knowing more about our education system, they attended some of our bilingual classes. They were really impressed with their visit to our school and Málaga in general! May these ones be the first of many exchanges! 

St. Patrick's Day Gymkana

 We had a ball last Friday, the 17th March, celebrating St. Patrick's Day at CEIP Salvador Allende.Children and teachers from three schools gather together that day to enjoy a specially created gymkana  (2ºA CEIP Tierno Galván, 2º A & B CEIP Salvador Allende and 1º A & B CEIP Los Morales). It had ten stations or games and we all formed the Irish flag with the colours of our T-shirts and a giant clover full with our best wishes! They did a treasure hunt with a treat at the end and they took bookmarks to remember the day. Thanks so much to AMPA Los Almendros and AMPA Averroes for collaborating and helping make such a great event! Here you have some photos!

St. Valentine's Day in Los Morales school.

 We had a great day, full of love and friendship. We exchanged friendship messages... even the teachers!

Bilingual activities & BILITRAMS

Halloween 2022 in Los Morales

 Halloween gymkhana:

We had so much fun last week in Halloween.... There were costumes again, a terrorific gymkhana, scary stories, decorations all around the school and a spooky breakfast...

All doors were fantastically customized... There were monsters, vampires, witches, tombstones, katrinas... Everyone made a great effort! Here you have a video to show you all these activities. Enjoy!

SCIENCE PROJECTS

Los alumnos de tercer curso han realizado un proyecto de ciencias en el que hemos trabajado la importancia de reciclar los residuos y darles una segunda vida. De esta manera comprendemos lo importante que es cuidar de nuestro planeta evitando generar gran cantidad de residuos.

Los alumnos han presentado sus ideas a los compañeros del curso paralelo, para ello han hecho uso de la L2 con el vocabulario sobre los materiales que hemos aprendido en esta unidad. Los inventos han quedados expuestos durante la semana en el pasillo para compartirlos con el resto de alumnado del centro.

Aquí dejamos algunos ejemplos, aunque todos estaban realmente espectaculares.
